We are almost there! Christmas day, with all of its warm thoughts and friendly smiles. All around the world, people are immersing themselves in the spirit of the season, and I wanted to send you all my brothers and sisters in Christ ,my best wishes. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!  We both know that Christmas is more than just a holiday; it is Jesus's birthday. It is a time when we are most reminded of God's gift to the world His only son, the Christ child, to raise us up out of our condition into GRACE. It is about God's love for you and me. He loves us not because of what are, but He loves us  because of what  He knows we can become, if we allow Him to get involved in our lives. I know that with all of the shopping and cooking and merriment, our most important priority as Christian can be unintentionally obscured. In the whirlwind of to-do lists and such, it is important to remember the story of our Savior's birth in order to regain clarity.

The three wise men were guided to Jesus' manger by light, and they came bearing gifts. It is not as important to know what the gifts were as it is to recognize that these men wanted to give Jesus the best of what they had. During this Christmas season, I encourage you to give the best of what you have, the knowledge of Jesus Christ, to a friend. Whether they are saved or not, please feel free to reach out to someone and invite them to your Christmas service. This person may be a neighbor or, a co-worker, or even homeless- there is not anyone you could think of that could not benefit from Christ's gift. As with the wise men, the Lord will guide you by His light.

We, PAGCC, hope to see you and your loved ones ( and hopefully your guest) at our Christmas eve service ( Wed. at 8:00 PM). This is a time to congregate and praise the Lord, and we would love to have your voices join ours as we do so. Remember! Jesus came to set ue free from the eternal fire. Praise the Lord! The real and the only one meaning of Christmas is JESUS CHRIST: crucified, buried, risen ascended and coming again.
